Four generations of my family have worked in the hospitality industry, serving in some of Miami Beach's most exclusive hotels. During a time when they weren't even allowed to stay on Miami Beach due to segregation, they still showed up, did the work, and held their heads high.
I learned from their example. When I studied abroad in Spain, I befriended textile manufacturers in Bangladesh and Pakistan. I saw an opportunity to bring their quality and my family's experience together.
That's why I started Revere Textiles. Not just to sell linens. To build something my family couldn't have imagined back then. A Black owned company supplying premium towels and linens to hotels, yachts, medical facilities, sports teams, and government clients.
Revere Textiles serves as a triumph over the old Miami. The one that opened doors for our labor but not our presence. Now we're not just working in the rooms. We're supplying them.
